INTERNET SAFETY

Staying safe online is a very important issue, now more than ever. Whilst the schools are closed we want to make sure our children are using safe online resources for their home learning.

There is a wealth of knowledge on the Internet Matters website for parents/carers of children of all ages, we have complied a few key areas on this page. Here you will find information on how to set up parental controls, supervise your children's online activity and safeguard against your children accessing inappropriate websites, games, app, TV and films.

In school we teach Internet Safety through the Kidsafe Children's Safeguarding Toolkit and every February we join in with Safer Internet Day, and so your child should already be familiar with the tools to keep them safe, but it is still important to keep checking what your child is doing whilst online.

More information can be found in our Online Safety Policy and procedures.
