 OUR LEARNING JOURNEY...

Autumn Term- Why were the Romans so powerful and what did we learn from them?

The children are enjoying learning about The Roman Empire this term. So far we have learnt many different facts about living during this era.

We have been creative in our Roman Art sessions where we have produced some amazing Roman Mosaics. Take a look at some of our pieces of work below!

science

For our science topic this half term, we have been learning all about the features of a plant. We investigated the conditions that plants need to grow as well as experimenting how water transports through the stem by using food colouring and determining the colour of the plant. We have enjoyed this topic of learning!

Christmas 2024

We have had a busy, action packed Christmas in year 3/4. We worked extremely hard on our christmas performance while singing and putting actions to our songs. We loved our Christmas Dinner enjoying eating it with all our friends and went to the cinema to watch 'Paddington in Peru'!

SPRING 1- why is London such a cool place to live

During this half term, we have been learning all about the city of London and why so many people might like to live there. We have also looked at the amazing landmarks that are found in London and completed some fantastic pieces of work.

Number day 2025

For our number day this year we looked at the story 'One is a Snail Ten is a Crab' and decided to make our own version of this story using animals that we find in the jungle. We demonstrated excellent artistic skills and used our maths understanding to help us design our pictures.
