SCHOOL UNIFORM

As a school we believe that school uniform helps us to create a sense of belonging and a calm working atmosphere. It promotes an image that shows our school community off positively when assembled together or when away from school on educational visits.

It is very important to ensure all clothing is well labelled at all times – especially new clothing or where the names are wearing off older items.

Children's everyday uniform is:

  • Red cardigans & sweatshirts (preferably with the school logo)
  • White or Red polo shirts
  • Grey or Black trousers, shorts, skirts, pinafores or playsuits
  • Red gingham summer dresses, playsuits
  • Black Shoes

Children's PE uniform is:

  • Black shorts or Jogging bottoms
  • Red T-shirt with the school logo (each child is issued with their first one free)
  • Black plimsolls for inside
  • Black trainers for outside games
  • Please ensure that earrings are not worn on PE days. Thank you

Children must come to school wearing their PE kit on their PE day as follows:

Monday Year 5
Tuesday Year 3
Wednesday Year 6  AM / Year 4 PM
Thursday Year 1 AM / Year 2 PM
Friday EYFS AM / Year 6 PM

FREE SCHOOL MEALS

If you are out of work or in a low paid job you may be entitled to claim Free School Meals for your child(ren). This can be confusing because ALL children in Reception to Year 2 get Universal Free School Meals. Even if your child is in Reception to Year 2 it is important that you claim this, as this will also give you access to the Supermarket vouchers that are issued due to COVID closures. As a school it helps us if people who are entitled to claim do claim as a lot of statistics are based around these figures

To see if you are eligible please register here. Fill in the online form and you will be told whether or not you qualify (the checking process can take a few days).

UNIFORM GRANT

If you are out of work or in a low paid job you may be entitled to the uniform grant which runs alongside the Free School Meals.

If you have older children who receive Free School Meals you should be entitled to receive a uniform grant for the younger children as well but you will need to add them onto your claim, not not all children are entitled to the uniform grant.

To see if you are eligible please register here. Fill in the online form and you will be told whether or not you qualify (the checking process can take a few days).
