Welcome to Westfield Nursery and Primary School
'Smile and succeed'
We would like to welcome you to our school website, where we hope you will find everything you need to know about our unique school. Also, you will find key links to sites which may be of help, support or of interest to you and your child. The children are keen for you to celebrate their learning with them; the curriculum page will be updated with key information about their learning and how you can support your child.
Westfield is a very special place, with staff, parents and pupils committed to ensuring our children have a wide range of opportunities to widen their horizons and explore the world beyond their doorstep. We are very proud of what we achieve at Westfield and invite you to see our happy, confident and welcoming children by visiting us. We would love to show you!
Our Vision & Values
Our curriculum at Westfield Nursery and Primary School is based on our school ethos of 'Smile and Succeed' and embeds our shared values of honesty, trust, understanding, respect, perseverance and motivation in order that all pupils make good progress, socially, emotionally and academically.
Our school will provide excellent care; we will make a difference to children and families by unlocking life chances, developing life skills and widening opportunities and possibilities.
We have strong links with our community through Westfield Housing, at The Minto Centre, Rosecroft Residential home and St Mary’s Church Westfield and we value highly the contribution they make to our school. Learning about family, community and belonging are core elements of our broad and varied curriculum.
Please follow our daily Tweets, read our regular newsletters and keep up with the many events and activities we have going on.
