Times of the Day
8:00am Early Birds Breakfast Club
We have a very popular Breakfast Club. The daily cost is £1.00 for which your child will be able to enjoy various activities and breakfast including fruit juice, cereal, yogurts and toast with a topping and a choice of fresh fruit. A hot ‘special’ breakfast is served on the last day of every half term.
8:40am: Doors Open
Children come into school and begin their morning learning. Children must not arrive unaccompanied before this time as there is no supervision.
Children arriving after this time are required to enter school via the main entrance.
Morning Break for Key Stages 10:25-10:40 and Key Stage 2 10:45-11:00. Children can bring fruit from home (No bananas). Free fruit is available for all children in the Foundation Stage and Key Stage One. In addition to this, there is a healthy tuck shop in Key Stage 2, subject to availability, where children can buy healthy snacks including apples, grapes and seasonal produce.
We encourage children to bring a drink of water to school. It is very important that they remain hydrated throughout the day. Water fountains are also available in school. Should you wish for your child to have a packed lunch, rather than a school meal, please ensure that they are healthy. They must not contain excessive amounts of sugary, salty or fatty foods.
Foundation Stage: 11:45 - 12:45.
Key Stage 1: 12:00 - 13:00.
Key Stage 2: 12:15 - 13:15
End of School
School finishes at 3.15pm and the arrangements for collecting your child are as follows:
Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 children must be collected from the external doors to their classrooms.
Key Stage 2 children will be dismissed from the external doors to their classrooms All children in year 3 must be collected from the teacher.
If you are delayed or unable to collect your child, please telephone school.
3:15pm - 4:15pm After School Club
We have a number of very popular after school activities. Lists of available activities are sent out at the beginning of every term for the children to sign up to. Clubs Include Cooking in KS1 & KS2, craft club, Football in KS1 & KS2, Film Club, Mystery Club, French Club & Choir Club to name a few.
